DCHS - Rescue
Forever change the life of one of our pets by rescuing them today! DCHS-Rescue is a 501(c)(3) located in Hartsville, SC. Our intake of pets far exceeds our local adoptions, so we rely heavily on rescues like you to pull our pets and save lives. We take in pets every day, so this page is constantly being updated. We encourage you to explore our site and find the perfect pet for your rescue. Highlighting Blythe - URGENT
MEET BLYTHE…a 4 year old, 57lb, heart worm positive terrier mix. This low rider is dog friendly, ADORES KIDS, and is eager for a family of her own. Blythe had a great time during her Paws Around the Pee Dee field trip with a family! Blythe’s handlers said “She is an absolutely incredible dog, like truly. She would truly do so good with kids. She wouldn't leave until all of the kids were in front of her. She is going to make someone incredibly happy.”
Highlighting Camille
Camille is the talk of the town! She's absolutely gorgeous, sweet, and oh-so-cuddly. She's 5 months old and has been in a foster home with other cats and a dog. She travels great in a cat carrier backpack. She's ready to bring warmth and friendship to any loving home.

Help support our Bridge Boarding facility by giving today! Pets who have rescue and/or require special medical care call Bridge home until it's time for them to launch into their new pet careers. Bridge Boarding frees up kennel space at the shelter and literally saves lives.
